The monk's house is cool and the bamboo tree is new, and the dust is washed by a rain at the beginning.
The breeze suddenly blows the lotus leaves, and the green jade plate pours mercury.
——Shi Beiwu, "After the Summer Rain, Green Netherlands"
A sudden summer rain washed away all the dust and dirt;
Around the monk's house, there are green bamboos and greenery, which is particularly fresh and cool;
A breeze blows the lotus leaves, and the crystal dew rolls on the turquoise leaves;
From a distance, it looks like mercury pouring from a green jade plate.
Shi Beiwu is a poet in the Tang Dynasty and once won a high school prize, but he is indifferent by nature and unwilling to take the road of official career.
Without waiting for the court to confer him with an official, he drifted away.
Zhang Ji and other celebrities gave him poems, and it became a good story for a while.
Later, he lived in seclusion in the mountains, devoted himself to cultivation, and called himself "Qi Zhenzi".
Most of the works he left behind are quatrains, and later generations have a very high evaluation: "novel and magnificent, high like pottery, rhyme like Xie, and his character should not be under Li Du".
This song "Green Netherlands after the Summer Rain" creates a sense of calm and coolness by describing the beautiful scenery after the summer rain.
Especially in the last two sentences, the lotus leaves are compared to green jade plates, the raindrops are compared to mercury, and the scene of the wind blowing the lotus leaves and the water droplets rolling is vividly drawn, giving people a beautiful enjoyment.

Hanlian Pavilion
Wen Tong (Song Dynasty)
The sun is higher than the water of the bamboo lake, and the wind grows into the lotus fragrance.
Under the red and green channels, each has a low attitude.
The sun rises, and the dazzling light shines through the bamboo forest and sprinkles on the surface of the lake, which is sparkling;
The long wind was mighty, blowing through the lotus flowers, and a refreshing fragrance enveloped the entire pavilion;
Under the illumination of the sun, the red lotus flowers and the green lotus leaves reflect each other, and the posture is myriad and charming.
Wen Tong is the cousin of Su Shi, a great writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, and is good at painting bamboo.
Su Shi recorded the process of painting bamboo in "Wen and Can Paint Yundang Valley Yanzhu", "Therefore, painting bamboo must first become a bamboo in the chest."
The idiom "confident" was born from this.
As a painter, he is adept at capturing the image of things, as well as subtle changes in light and color.
Su Shi once commented on Wang Wei's works, "There are paintings in poems, and there are poems in paintings", which is also applicable to Wentong.
Through the delicate portrayal of the scenery around the pavilion, this poem shows the scene of light and shadow, colorful and vibrant in summer.
There are both visual and olfactory descriptions, both static scenes and dynamic postures, word by word, like a picture scroll, amazing.

The lotus leaf skirt is cut in one color, and the hibiscus is open to both sides of the face.
I can't see it when I enter the pool, and I feel that someone is coming when I hear the song.
——Wang Changling, "Lotus Picking Song"
The lotus picking girl wore a green Luo skirt, supported a small boat, and shuttled between the green lotus leaves;
The ruddy face, against the backdrop of the lotus, looks more bright;
Their figures seem to be integrated with the lotus pond, and they are difficult to make out from a distance;
It wasn't until I heard the singing that I suddenly noticed their traces.
"Lotus Picking" has been a great summer scene in the south of the Yangtze River since ancient times, and countless literati and artists have created with this theme.
Among them, the most praised by later generations is Wang Changling's seven uniques.
This poem was written by him when he was demoted to the dragon standard.
At that time, he went out of the city to play and relax, and happened to see a few girls boating on the lake, picking lotus and singing, so he wrote this poem.
The first two lines of the poem are written from a visual point of view, and through color rendering, they skillfully integrate the lotus girl and nature perfectly.
The last two sentences capture the shadowy figure of the lotus picking girl from an auditory perspective.
Shape, color, expressive, beautiful, people are more beautiful.
